Message from Founder & Artistic Director:
Zan Lene` - Founder & Artistic Director of LCPA
"This project is dedicated in the memory of Marie Barker McCaroll of Albany, Louisiana. Not only was she Louisiana native folk and gospel singer in her own right, a mother of eight children, and a beautiful soul; she was my great grandmother, who brought into my life as well as many others the the joy of music and culture. With this project, she will always live on as will the music."
In Loving Memory of Marie Barker McCarroll 1908-1988
